I can see the light at the end of the seminary tunnel! In August 2023 I will march across the stage and receive my diploma for a MA in Church History and Theology from The Bible Seminary in Katy, TX

I am a classic lesson in what happens when you answer a prompting by the Holy Spirit and say, “Okay Lord, I’ll just take one Bible class and see how it goes after that.” That led to a second class, and then a decision to receive a Leadership Certificate that then rolled into a decision to complete a Masters. Praise the Lord for a patient and flexible administration!

The top-notch teaching and deep discussion have been life-giving to me, especially as I’ve transitioned from full-time stay-at-home-mom to full-time ministry with young adults leaving the nest. And even this week, I used my theological education to help a congregant unpack tough questions and then my pastoral care training to help her step boldly toward Jesus and receive the gift of salvation.
